An introduction to the history of The Crawdads is a fascinating journey from their formation in 1980 to this present day. The original high school Rockabilly cats Steve Dawson & Dean Kennedy hail from Manchester England and now reside in Perth, Australia. 

With over 37 years the band sure does have an impressive history of events that other bands could only dream of, after all those rockin’ years The Crawdads are back and better than ever, performing all over Australia and currently recording their new album, they have recently been mentioned in Johnny Marr (The Smiths Guitarist Biography page 100) where he describes the young Crawdads as the cool cats from North Manchester.

A multi-genre rock/pop/top40 group featuring 5 young, talented musicians that know how to get the dance floor shaking with your favourite tunes. Playing the newest hits and classic tunes with plenty of surprises. Accompanied, as always, by DJ & Musical Chameleon James Mac til 3am.
